I Built a SaaS in a Day
Feb 16, 2026 · By Ege Uysal
Yesterday I asked myself a simple question.
If I had a new idea on Friday night, could I ship a real SaaS by the weekend?
Not a demo.
Not a half-finished starter.
Something I would actually launch.
By the end of the day, the answer was yes.
What This Is
This is Shipr.
A clean, production-ready SaaS platform inspired by the way products like Vercel feel. Serious design. Real infrastructure. No shortcuts.
It is fully open source and built so founders can test ideas fast without rebuilding the same things every time.

The Part That Matters
The feature list is not the point.
What matters is that everything is connected.
Auth flows into billing.
Billing flows into onboarding.
Onboarding flows into analytics.
No placeholder pages.
No “we’ll add this later.”
This was built like a real product from the start.
Why I Built This
Most SaaS starters solve the easy parts.
They get you to a dashboard, then stop.
Shipr exists so you can go further without slowing down.
If I can build this in a day, anyone with a good idea can ship something real.
This Is Not a Throwaway
You do not outgrow this.
You build on it.
You launch with it.
You charge money with it.
And because it is open source, you can see exactly how everything works.
Final Thought
This is not about speed.
It is about standards.
Move fast.
Do not build garbage.
I plan to build companies for a long time.
One of them will be worth a billion dollars.
This is how it starts.
